E-Ship Rising was developed, to answer a need in the Wyandotte County Community. An unlikely meeting at Gregg Klice Community Center in Kansas City, Missouri, started a supportive, resource sharing relationship between Sheyvette Dinkens, local author, educator and community advocate and Tovah Madden, fearless, Founder of the Royale Cohesive Network. During continued conversations and discussions with local youth, E-Ship Rising was blossomed into more than an idea, but a stepping stone of success. E-Ship Rising is a Chapter of Royale Cohesive Network. This chapter will focus on one of the four cornerstones of Royale Cohesive Network, which is entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs have the framework (environment) to learn the skills of being successful to be sustainable adults through Entrepreneurship, a “Passport to Freedom”.

Participants will complete a 12 week course that will cover all aspects of starting a new business, with their business launch as the ultimate outcome. E-Ship Rising is available to any youth that resides in Wyandotte County, up to the age of 25.  Youth can also attend dually with family members, we believe in the empowerment of the entire family.

We will walk you through the entire process of creating a business from scratch, so you do not need to do anything before this course begins - outside of your passion and
love for your NEW journey!
